We saw the pediatrician today and Colt weighs 10 lbs. 12 oz. now. I hate seeing him get shots! It is so sad! Luckily, my mom came with me so she could keep him company in the backseat after the trauma. That was his last synagis shot, since RSV season is winding down. She said our first official outing can be Mother's Day which is what the hospital said. We will still need to be careful and keep him away from sick people. He's starting on some rice cereal today...added to his bottles. She switched all of his medicine dosages and supplement dosages, just when I was getting good at it...I get to re-learn it all :) He got a finger poke too to check his anemia, and he was a little on the low side but not too bad. She's increasing his iron dosage anyway. Yesterday afternoon, one of Colt's favorite nurses came to visit us (Tabitha). We had a great time with her! Colt has to get his 6 month immunizations at his next appt. His "teacher" from the early start program starts working with him Friday. We'll see her twice a week in our home, for 45 minutes a session to show me how to work with him to get him caught up. She'll see him until he is three years old.
