Abandoned Blog...Again

So I abandoned the blog AGAIN, I don't know what my deal is....I keep forgetting! After almost 4 years of it, it slipped my mind. So to bring it up to speed here are a few things we've done in the last month. (Above) Colt had his first river trip, and there were no shortages of cute girls for him to flirt with. This little guy LOVES girls.

Kelsey's cheer team went to Nationals at Disneyland. She's getting so old! Yikes, 8th grade next year!

We started back at horse lessons and Colt is on a big horse now, no more ponies for this cowboy.

And I think he likes it that way!

Dirt Lover

We took our first camping trip as a family this past weekend, and even the muts came along for the fun. As you can see they had too much fun...had to pass out and recuperate :)

Keeping up with teenagers is proving to be almost as tough as keeping up with toddlers, and as luck would have it- we have BOTH! Kels had a cheer competition this weekend, and the placed 1st in both cheer and dance!

Little monkey is growing like a weed and loving his new preschool, he only goes one day a week for now but will start more soon becuase he loves it so much!

Sunny Days

All this nice weather we've been having has made for some outdoor fun lately. So we headed to the beach....yes, the beach in JANUARY where it was 80 degrees. Here's Colt with his pal Kai who he just loves to follow around.

Who doesn't like to dig holes in the sand?! This time Dad caught on and dug one for himself to lay in!

Christmas was extra fun this year because Colt is starting to "get" the whole deal with presents and excitement!

We went to hospitality night in Laguna this weekend to see Santa ride in on a firetruck, Colt thought it was pretty cool. It's neat that he is starting to "get" the whole Christmas thing and enjoy it! It's so fun to see the excitement!

Odd Family Vacation

Had an interesting week in Laguna.....lots of rain, I got really sick and it ended with Colt getting the flu! Better luck next time!

LOVES some park time....

This kid, like all others, loves the park. He loves it so much that we are now reduced to spelling the word p-a-r-k in his presence to avoid a meltdown.....and Lord help us if he sees one while we're out driving or going for a walk....

Colt had his tonsils and adenoids out this week, and we hope that this was his last surgery (pretty please!). He's doing great now, healing up well. Glad that is behind us now and hope he stays healthier this winter!

Farm Life For Colt

Colt took his first trip to Nebraska, and besides the flight being a complete nightmare-----the farm part was awesome. Colt could have stayed a lot longer, he loved the open space, tractors, cows, and all the new stuff!
