The new motto at this point is no news is good news. Today was relatively newsless. He had a touchy night again, just being a stinker as the nurse said with his breathing. He continued being a stinker well into the morning, but by noon he was rebounding back to stable and stayed there the rest of the evening. The nurse moved him onto his belly and he really seems to like that much better. The tummy and lung x-rays had no change. They took him off of the dopamine (which is a blood pressure regulatory measure) which means he can keep it where it needs to be on his own- so that is a positive. The lungs still have fluid in them, so still no feedings.
Nothing else much to report, it was a very quiet day at the NICU. I think we get another brain ultrasound Monday or Tuesday. They'll do x-rays about everyday to monitor the stomach and lungs.

We just wanted to let you guys know that you are in our prayers constantly. The scripture that has been coming to mind often during prayer is found in Psalm 139. So just know that God formed your precious Cole's inward parts and knitted him together in Nicole's womb. He is fearfully and wonderfully made and God's works are wonderful. Colt's frame was not hidden from God when he was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. God's eyes saw Colt's unformed substance and in His book was written, every one of them, the days that were formed for Colt, when as yet there were none of them. God bless you guys - you are are good hands.
Much love,
Ken and Tina Crawford
What a great photo with Colt, Kelsey and Kreg. We so enjoyed seeing you guys yesterday. Try to have at least one good laugh everyday...even if it's at Forest's expense (think ziplocs, hair gel, cologne, the list goes on and on...) Our hearts are with you. We love you guys! Be well, little Colt!

It has been so great being able to keep up with Colt's progress. He is a precious gift from God, and pretty cute, too! You guys are getting excellent nursing experience - you'll be qualified to pass the State Boards before you know it!! Our prayers and hugs are with you all.
Love, Bev and Steve
