Friday

Here is Colt with his teacher, he really seems to like her. He's really showing an interest in sitting up, although he is still not quite ready. He's almost got enough control of the head to start trying the bumbo. If you don't know what that is, it's basically a sitting chair that helps babies sit unassisted before they can actually accomplish that. I may try it again today and see how he does, the last time he wasn't quite ready.
Next week we see the doctor again, and we see the eye specialist at the end of this month. Colt's teacher also arranged for an eye specialist to come to the house to check him out and see how he's doing. He really seems to be doing well with his focusing and tracking, and showing an improvement in the distance he can see (but what do I know). I'll be anxious to hear what they say about it.
The San Diego Blood Bank called to see if they could use Colt in their advertisements, which is kind of cool. So in two weeks we'll take him down there for a little photo shoot. Speaking of giving blood, thank you to those of you who did give blood on Wednesday at the blood drive!!

I REMEMBER WHEN MY SISTER'S TWIN'S HAD THEIR PHYSICAL THERAPY. SHE CALLED HER THE BABY WHISPERER BECAUSE SHE HAD SUCH A CALMING AFFECT ON THE BOYS. IT LOOKS LIKE COLT IS ENJOYING CLASS TIME TOO! IT IS SO EXCITING TO WATCH HIS PROGRESS. THANKS FOR SHARING HIM WITH US.
